Race for Education
The major fundraiser for the PTF is the Race For Education. This occurs
in the fall and each student secures pledges through the mail for a
one-hour walk/run/jog. This fundraiser has been successful the last five
years with an average of $25,000 dollars raised each year. This money enables the
school to purchase equipment that is needed. The "Details" link will

some of the advances in education provided to our children as a result of
this wonderful program.
Scrip
When VCS Families purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift
certificates that are used just like cash. The scrip is issued by the
national and local retailers where many of us already shop. These
merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you
to support them by shopping with scrip at their stores. VCS members can
use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other
essentials, and with every purchase, you are earning tuition credit for
you child.

Technology-4-Kids is a web destination, which allow yous to do you
everyday shopping online. Parents and family members who patronize the
merchants partnered with Technology4Kids can help Valley Christian School
earn classroom technology such as computers, software, and more.

rather simple way to support Valley Christian with minimal effort. For

Box Tops for Education
Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills
products with the original Box Tops program. Box Tops are worth 10˘ each
when your school sends them to General Mills.

your designated school.
ECCO Recycles
Valley Christian School has partnered with ECCO Recycles,
a family owned company in Washington State, to collect empty inkjet,
laser, and fax cartridges. The cartridges from business and home can be
recycled. There is no cost to Valley Christian School to participate. ECCO
Recycles pays for all shipping costs, cartons, return envelopes, and
program flyers. Save those cartridges and drop them in the marked
containers the next time you stop by school. "Details" will provide
answers to some frequently asked questions.
Verizon Extra Credit for Schools
Verizon will then set aside 5% of your monthly long
distance usage for Valley Christian School. Each quarter Valley gets
a check.
Contributions are automatically made in your name, and you invest no
money. Simply designate Valley as the school you want to benefit, then
choose your long distance plan.
