Doris Rissinger

Doris has been involved with VCS for 14 years.

She is a current VCS parent and a former VCS Preschool Aide, Kindergarten Teacher, and After School Program Supervisor.

She was educated at Messiah College and Temple University.

Doris attends Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia.

Kindergarten Teacher

Patricia (Pat) Rich

Pat has been involved with VCS for 17 years.

She is a former VCS parent and VCS Preschool Teacher. She also is a Kindergarten/1st Grade Developmental screener.

She was educated at Philadelphia College of Bible, Temple University Grad School and Philadelphia Biblical University Grad School.

Pat attends Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia.

Lisa MacIntyre

Lisa has been a part of VCS staff for 7 years.

She is a current VCS parent and former Recess Supervisor and PM Preschool Teacher.

She was educated at Philadelphia College of Bible.

Lisa attends Fellowship Bible Church in Philadelphia.

Grade 2 Teacher

Lynn Wenger

Lynn has been a part of VCS staff for 9 years.

She is a current VCS parent and former After School Program Supervisor and VCS Substitute.

She was educated at Philadelphia College of Bible.

Lynn attends Davisville Church.

Grade 3 Teacher

Suzanne Dougherty

Suzanne’s has been a part of VCS staff for 6 years.

She completed her student teaching at VCS.

She was educated at Philadelphia Biblical University.

Suzanne attends Calvary Fellowship of Central Bucks.

Chryss Mench

Chryss has been a part of VCS staff for 11 years.

She is a former VCS parent.

She was educated at Houghton College.

Chryss attends Glenside Bible Church.

Elissa Reed

Elissa is joining the VCS staff this year.
 

Grade 6 Teacher

Becky Arscott

Becky has been a part of VCS staff for 2 years.

Becky is a native of London and is living in the states while her husband pursues a degree at Westminster Theological Seminary. She earned a BA (ED) Hons. Primary Education with Art and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status-UK government recognized). She was a fifth grade (equivalent to US sixth grade) teacher for two years in London before moving to the US. Her experience here in the US includes tutoring privately and in the Huntingdon Learning Center.

Mrs. Arscott worships at Gwynedd Valley Presbyterian Church.
 

Art Teacher

Miss Rita Carswell

Has been a part of VCS staff for 4 years.

Mrs. Rita Carswell returns to VCS after an extended leave to raise a family. 

She is a certified K-12 art teacher and also earned a BFA in printmaking from the Tyler School of Art.

Mr. Matt Carroll

Has been a part of VCS staff for 3 years.

Matt is currently working on a degree in elementary education. His experience with children and sports includes his summer ministry at Carson Simpson Farm as a counselor and volunteering at his church’s youth ministry.

He is a graduate of Cheltenham High School, attended Montgomery County Community College, and is currently studying online.

Matt is an active member of Glenside United Methodist Church.
