> Booster Seat Law
Effective: Feb 21, 2003

The booster seat provision requires that children up to age 8 be restrained in a child safety seat or booster seat while riding in a motor vehicle.

Under the new law, drivers cannot be pulled over for failure to comply with the booster seat requirement, they can only be cited after being pulled over for another violation.
